Rule 3.717. Dismissals

Except as specified in MCR 3.718(B), MCR 3.718(D), and MCR 3.720, an action for an extreme risk protection order may only be dismissed upon motion by the petitioner prior to the issuance of an order. There is no fee for such a motion. This rule does not preclude a dismissal as otherwise permitted by law.
