Rule 21.01. Misdemeanors – Indictment or Information

All misdemeanors shall be prosecuted by indictment or information.

This is substantially the same as the first sentence of prior Rule 21.01 and the first sentence of prior Rule 21.02 except that it is limited to misdemeanors.
